Cynthia Meyer, CFA®, CFP®, ChFC®

Co-Founder

Hi I'm Cynthia Meyer. I'm a real estate investor, financial planner, financial mentor, and real estate business coach. I offer unbiased financial planning, business coaching, and learning resources to real estate investors and the financial planners who serve them. My husband, Steve, and I formed our rental real estate company during the Great Recession. We wanted the adventure of trying direct real estate ourselves and wanted to create a real estate business we could pass on to our kids. Over a decade, we built a successful rental business with single-family homes, small multifamily properties, and a small apartment complex all in great neighborhoods. This allowed me to start my dream financial planning firm, Real Life Planning. I have also co-founded the Real Estate Financial Coach Course, Real Estate For Generations, and the You Unlimited coaching program. Thanks to creating multiple sources of income for ourselves, we achieved the ability to be completely work-optional by our mid-50s and still maintain our comfortable lifestyle. It didn't happen overnight though - it happened by practicing smart habits over the course of our marriage.

Dave Rowan

Co-Founder

Hi I'm Dave Rowan, MBA, CFP. I own multiple investment properties, am a Certified Financial Planner®, and run Rowan Financial, a registered investment advisory practice in Bethlehem, PA. In my 30's, I was in a corporate job and rising fast up the managerial ranks. The money and the prestige were both great, but the lack of time for my family and my health were not. It was at that time that I made two life-altering decisions - buy investment real estate and start up a business as a side hustle. I did this for seven years before finally being able to let go of my day job, let go of my reliance on someone else for my income and move on to full time entrepreneurship. Now in my 50s, I'm making more than I did in corporate America with more fun in my life and less stress.
